Exactly!

Also you can't just go by previous stats.

It's evident that Federer is nowhere near the player he was and evident that Murray is so much better than he was.

To put Fed as number 1 for Wimbledon is ludicrous regardless of how good he's been in the past!

To me Fed's level in 2012 is just tied with how fast he can find his confidence back. He played the AO at a great level but then his losses in Rotterdam and Dubai (with mp vs Berdych) affected his game more than he thought.
Maybe it's just his almost 32 years old mind which is not as competitive and willing to win as his 31 years old one was, but it makes all the difference to me.

Saw this quote from Fudgerer on Eurosport:

"I was satisfied with my game in the past 10 months. Maybe people thought I was playing badly. That was not the case. I was playing well but when it mattered the others were just better. Today it worked well," he said in a courtside interview.

Not often he'll admit that. Maybe his fans can also come to terms that his aging is affecting his game.

On the contrary, I think he'll win Wimbledon. I see him getting motivated by the fact Nadal has won 8 French Opens and he has only won 7 Wimbledons. :P

On old grass his topspin would mean nothing after the bounce, it would be right in peoples strike zones. And he couldn't play way behind the baseline.
JohnCurveo wrote:Nadal is a hell of a beast in grass, that Wimbledon 2008 final proves that. Better than Djoko and Marray so far.

My best: Nadal-Federer and way behind them Murray and Djoko

He has more titles and appearances than them but is he really that much better than them in 2013 on grass? And Murray was miles ahead of rafa in accomplishments on grass last year. And Nole beat rafa in the final in 2011. As I said before its razor thin between them.

Don't agree with you. I think ure confusing the bounce of the ball on indoor hard court with fast grass. Nadal has played great tournaments on Queen's, and won 2008's edition. Then, Queen's grass was faster than now, near to 2000's Wimby. Top spin shots are really hard to counter on grass, but u have to dominate, Haas uses it, Gasquet uses it, Federer uses it. Always on grass. And Borg won that tournament 5 times.

I think Murray will never win Wimbledon, and i think Nadal is gonna win 2013's Wimby. Nadal was not in form last year, if Djokovic plays him, i guarantee this is not gonna be like 2011's final.

No if djokovic plays rafa on grass then definitely It ll be Nole winning.. The guy just pushed rafa to the edge on his favourite surface.. He will be able to beat nadal rather easily on grass

Answer for rafa vs Nole...

And Murray beat the 2011 Wimbeldon champ (Nole) twice on grass last year. And he split with federer on grass last year. Does he really have no chance of ever winning Wimbledon?

Simply no :D

Seriously federer was tired after that delpo match so everyone knew that he'd lose.. And about Nole, he was not in form last year around this time..

Murray has no chance of ever winning Wimbledon - LOL, that is all!

Perhaps you didn't see him decimate Federer at the Olympics following a straight sets win over Djokovic?

You may also have not noticed that Fed severely struggled at Halle this year.

Also, Nadal would have no chance against Djok, because as someone said, look how much he struggled with him on clay!

I think Roland Garros match will be a turnover between Rafa and Nole matches. Like in 2011 was for Nole, it will be 2013 for Rafa. Say Rafa has no chance vs Nole on Wimbledon is saying too much, ure understimating Rafa in my opinion. I think he had a problem of confidence lately.

Federer struggled this year? Yeah, and last year lost to Haas, then won Wimbledon. I think Murayy have a problem with 5 sets matches. And Wimbledon, to much pressure. My bet is risky, but i think he will never win it.

This year's final Rafa vs Federer, like old days :D

Wimbeldon 2012 - finalist
London 2012 - winner
US Open 2012 - winner, beat djokivic in 5
Aussie open 2013 - finalist, beat fed in 5 in semis

Murray, being the Scot that he is, should stick to whiskey and leave the tennis to the rest of us!!!!

Those last 3 posts are such nonsense that it's laughable!

Well, the Scots drinking whiskey is a fair stereotype haha!

The wind and a tired Fed? Really guys, if you're going to continue with baseless Murray hating, at least keep the stupidity to a minimum!
