I'm not suggesting that a professional male today would lose to a professional woman today, however, given that today's players are better conditioned - and the game has changed so much - I do think a modern day gal would have more than a fighting chance against an old school male. Actually, I happen to think Serena would beat tight-pants Borg.

Yeah I heard Evert (a ATG female) asked whether she ever played John Lloyd who she was married to, and she basically said if we tried and he played properly I would never win a point.

I think if Serena was on the ATP she would be ranked about 4-500th, I reckon. One of the hardest things women players would have to deal with is the sheer weight of shot from a male pro. Look at Musters painful comeback, however if he was not the wta, he would probably have been in the top ten somewhere.

I doubt she would be in top 400-500. More like 1500 or so. And she would have to play her absolute best to that that too.

Borg was pretty much as quick or quicker than Nadal...Serena and all the women move soooo sluggishly compared to the guys....it would be no contest Borg would win 6-0 6-0

If all you are saying is true, why the hell do we watch women's tennis - or any sport that involves women?!?! Sure the competition is good, but the same can be said about the Special Olympics.   8)

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Personally, I don't. I have The Tennis Channel, and if I flip to channel
217 and they're playing WTA I just change the channel, I straight up am bored to tears by the ladies. So slow in both their movement and shots

I'm not a sexist person, I believe women are free to do whatever they please, but I don't have to watch it.

It just seems pointless...I want to watch a sport being played at its most elite, highest level PERIOD, and women will never have our athletic prowess. An I saying woman are terrible and lack any skills?? No, I'm sure there's plenty of girls out there who could beat me in a game of HORSE (basketball) But couldn't deal with a mans strength and aggressiveness in a real match situation.

Dudes I'm rambling I officially hate typing on an iPhone...it's hard to express myself clearly cuz I type SOOO much quicker on a computer

Of the current crop I think vesnina is pretty hot. There is something about jankovic as well, not her looks exactly bit I think she looks like she would be a right dirt in the sack

Dirt in the sack? :? Doesn't sound especially desirable when you put it that way.
