Hewitt definitely volleys better than Davydenko though. Not that it really matters since he doesn't use it very often.

He really does. And has oe of the best smashes in the game, and is a good doubles player. He should really incorporate this play into his game now, hes only like 28 but a 'old' 28. his style of play is a young mans game. But i still think hewitt is quality on the grass, it took an inspried roddick to take him down, and i think he still has a couple of momentus comebacks left in the tank, ala stepanek last year, fantastic match.

You're right, i forgot ordina open but a player can't play both queens and halle if I'm not wrong ; therefore, it makes 2500 points to deliver for the grass season. it is still less than half the points of the clay season.

theres a grass tournament just after wimbledon, at newport which i think is a 250, not 100% on that though.

It's not hard to volley better than Davydenko. His back hand volley, i mean his double backhand volley is a joke.

Also has stepanek been injured? not heard off him lately.

All this debate about whether serve-volley is a viable game plan these days, after watching navarro-murray i'd say it is, at least on grass. I mean, navarro isn't exactly a 'great' player, yet give murray a good match.

I'm glad Nadal lost. Will help his chances at Wimbledon. Get a taste of grass and move on. No need to exhaust his knees messing with a lousy 250 event.
