hmmmm

I disagree.

If Federer will struggle with his first serve, he will be in a lot of trouble. They both employ similar tactics of going for a lot and early. Gulbis more so then Fed. Plus Gulbis himself is serving great, so it will be tough for Fed to break him 3 times a match, but not impossible.

I say a 3 setter for Fed or a straight set victory for Gulbis.

i think Gulbis will make today a lot of unforced errors, he can´t bear the pressure, but is true, he is playing very well, and is very complete.

Didn't see the first set but since then Gulbis has been simply hitting the ball a lot better, picked up his first serve and has been getting great depth on his returns.

He isn't playing over outrageously, it has been a very measured and clinical performance. Federer has gone of the boil though especially on the forehand.

Match point.

Gulbis overhit on the first. On the second he rifled a shot to the fed forehand which he hit a squash shot off and Gulbis hit the fence.

Gulbis will have to serve for it now, has he got the nerve to finish this?

i´m not watching the match so what´s the explanation for this possible upset, a good Gulbis or a bad Federer?
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Another error on the 5th MP and then another DF on the 6th.

The crowd are really screaming for Federer now, cheering every error Gulbis makes and Federer breaks back.

Maybe it is his turn to win a match from MP down.

What´s happening? Gulbis has the balls to finish or what?

That is what happens when you start carying about the match - you start choking.

Gamewise - Gulbis is there, beating the best player in the world. But head-wise - he still either doesn't care enough, or cares and starts choking.
