I don't think DelPotro has the nerve or the stamina to beat Federer over 5 sets on a hardcourt.

On the otherhand he could do a Safin and just power through against his more decorated final opponent at his first attempt.

if he can end the points as quickly as he did against everyone else...i definitely think he has a chance.....but no one has a forehand like fed....he just runs people all over the place with his forehand....and his serve is absolutely amazing....when its crunch time he usually comes up with 30+ aces a match...simply amazing

He has that slice backhand that can make Del Po go crazy.

DelPotro will not have the same time on the ball that he had at Roland Garros. The pace of some of the rallies between Djokovic and Fed was lightning quick, I'm not sure DelPotro could keep up with that sort of pressure.

Yes. I do.

I think Delpo will be in a lot of points on Feds serve. I also think that Delpos backhand down the line will hurt roger as he will have to cheat and run around to hit his forehands. Slice definitely will cause problems for Delpo, but this is not grass.....that ball does bounce, even on slices.

Fed will need to serve great (which he is doing at the moment) and cut down backhand errors. I am sure this will be a big target for Delpo, he will try and hit a lot of hard deep balls there.

Saying all that, I still pick Fed to win in 4.

Del Potro in 5. Trust me im phsychic. Drinks all round, Feds going to lose his first GS final to someone different other than Nadal. I think Del Potro will step up. I do think im 100% wrong tho
