I couldn't even begin to choose. As I've explained before, I've been a casual fan of tennis for several years, but I have just recently started to follow it more closely. I don't have an in-depth understanding of all the technical aspects of it (and probably never will 'cause I don't play and have no desire to). I'm really just a fan of the game in general.

In big/important matches, I almost always subconsciously root for the underdog regardless of who is playing, 'cause I enjoy a good upset. For example, I was cheering Del Potro on during the U.S. Open final against Federer, but I was rooting for Blake against Del Potro the other day. (Granted, I've always liked Blake 'cause he seems like a friendly, classy guy.)

The only player I don't particularly care for is Serena. I appreciate and respect her talent, but I don't like her attitude - or, perhaps I should say, I don't like the way she comes off publicly.

That last sentence is a good point- we don't know any of these people!! They could be (and likely are) COMPLETELY different people than how they come off on TV. I know I would probably seem weird as &$%^ on TV.

In keeping with the topic, I guess my fave players (still active) are:

Federer
Stepanek
Hewitt
Roddick
Soderling
Davydenko
Tsonga
Nadal

When I say favorite player, I'm referring to their STYLE that I like, not the person. I have no idea if I'd want to hang out with any of the above guys.

I don't like Serena also. She remembers me on my Stepsister and she was a dumb Kid. (haha)

Men's - Fernando Gonzales. I have a crush on this man. He destroys the ball and plays so hard. Hope he has a big 2010.

Women's - Any woman that doesn't grunt and doesn't hit a 2-handed BH.

Same here. She doesn't grunt and plays BH second to Henin only. I like her style a lot.

Look wise, she looks retarded. I mean she has that drooling mouth with tons of teeth and her eyes don't project intellect at all. Surprisingly, she is a smart tennis player thou.
