Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

I remember berdych almost cried in Madrid masters this year after losing to federer. There's no big deal about Murray crying honestly. Above all he's been losing to federer in grand slams final. Soo that one really hurts. Baghdatis cried after losing to Hewitt in 5setter in AO. del potro cried after losing to federer in French open semi final in 2009. Leaving the court by Murray was childish but crying was in my opinion natural. And these kind of matches will only motivate Murray to be better later on. Football players cry like hell after losing although it is not an individual sport

I think I'm seeing a generation gap. Does anyone over the age of 30 think it's ok to cry when you lose a tennis match?

I have no patience or sympathy for self pity in any form. Crying losers are mostly feeling sorry for themselves.
And yes, I'm nearing 31. Perhaps the younger crowd is just so used to seeing tears that it seems normal, which was one of my original issues. It shouldn't be the norm.

Obviously I think it would be better they didn't cry, because as you all said crying does look a tad childish in comparison. I can just understand why they would do so.

Maybe it's because I have mental problems of my own, or not, I dunno. But all I know is I can understand the tears.

I would like 2 congratylate Federer on such an achievement. He was fantastic. Just watched the final. Roger played extremely well. He deserved the trophy.

Murray played a great match and being SCOTTISH not british. I'm extremely disappoimted that he did'nt win but so proud that he tried an I don't really care wat you all say I'm proud 2 be a murray fan
To win is to achieve success. To compete and lose and try again is greatness
