I think most people's serves have a fair amount of forward momentum. Which is why it's natural to run forward for the volley :D but even today you see guys especially on grass move a couple of feet inside the baseline after the serve, so it's now more serve and step instead of serve and volley

F-Lo has a really wicked serve I have to give him that.

Other than that he is maybe my least favorite ATP player. Too weak and effeminate to even come over a backhand.

Dustin Brown takes first set against Hewitt. Playing to a super high level, shows how the player need to adjust to a net rusher these days as it's so rare

Darcis withdrew for the second round
Brown is amusing me, finally a guy who doesn't play "percentage tennis".

He doesn't even think about a point, just plays on instinct. Hewitt isn't serving well at all shoulder a bit tight? Anyway brown up 2 sets 7-5 6-4

Quit while you're ahead, I guess. Hell, he might even retire. :D

Brown playing awesome. Great fun to watch. Hewitt doesn't even know what's hit him.

Is it bad that I hate when women play on centre as I do t like the baseline getting more ripped up than it needs to be?

Isner retired too.

And Azarenka, seems like that fall was more serious. Cakewalk for Sharapova to the final.

And the list goes on, Cilic and Stepanek.

Tsonga out, Maria keeps falling over. The courts haven't changed, maybe the shoes is why they keep slipping? And not much point moaning, it's the same conditions for both players. Maybe the grass being tougher means it's greener for longer

Very sad that the condition of the grass has blown up the bottom of the women's draw.

What did I say about Sharapova's cakewalk :D

Kvitova had a walkover too and is the highest seed in her half now.

Quarterfinal Serena-Robson?

Can't blame the courts. Lack of smaller leading up grass events is to blame. There has to be more of them and generally a larger Grass season leading up to Wimby.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Stakhovski with some sweet S&V game vs Fed. If you want to avoid rallies and potential slips, this is the answer. :)

Court has been the same since 2002 with 100% rye grass I think?
