Not really an excuse for Nadal but in my opinion the time it took to close the roof killed Nadals momentum. Still if they ended up finishing tomorrow Nadals momentum would of been gone.

Disappointed that Nadal was eliminated but I don't think he was gonna go deep into the tourney this year, regardless. Something missing. Not sure what.

Go Federer, I guess. :?

In my opinion... fed now the favourite.

That was insane. If anyone wants to see a recap of the match just watch the first two points in Nadal's last game. That pretty much shows you what Rosol was doing pretty much all match long.

Fed hasn't won a Slam since January 2010. Even on grass, don't think the codger can now be considered the favorite.

All I know is... never write off the feller with 16 grand slams and on his best surface. If fed plays 100% which he is still capable of doing, he can beat everyone left in the draw.

If Rosol can beat Nadal, then yes, Federer can beat Djokovic. This is very true (though I wouldn't bet money on it).

Fed has been playing better than Djoko so far. Let's see if he keeps it up.

There was no way fed was going to beat djoker and nadal back to back. now that one of them is gone, I think he has a good shot. he should definitely feel like he has a better shot now.

oh and at the end of the match did anybody else see nadal signing autographs on his way out???

thats what makes him a great guy. how many players would stop and sign after being upset in the second round? I can't think of any

Tsonga reached SF last year, and played a good match against Djokovic, this year he's in good form (i think he's lost weigh btw) and has the right game to beat anyone on grass, my money is on him
One more thing, don't know if you noticed it guys but he has improve his BH, more consistent now

Obviously Djokovic is the main favorite but i believe the frenchman can do well this year

Grass isn't Federer's best surface anymore, he is the indoor king and at the US Open he is better (although he has won one slam less there). The conditions at Wimbledon with closed roof are comparable to those at the World Tour Finals. If Federer and Djokovic meet in SF with closed roof I'd put my money on Federer, otherwise Djokovic.

Rosol is like del potro. Hitting craziest power shots like potro did in the final against federer in us open. Rafa got unlucky I would say. Not that he was playing bad. If there was no 30 min break before the start of 5th set then the result might have been different in rafa's favour
