I was just talking to my dad on the phone and I said "You know the French Open is going on right?" and he's all..."Yeah, how's Dvorak doing?"
it's dimitrov but he will soon turn 20TomBs wrote:1st match at Suzanne Lenglen, so unless all the stations decide to broadcast Wozniacki - Wozniak (love that matchup), I'll be watching what Teixeira can do.
But being 22 already and ranked only #181, surely he might be a bit old already. On the other hand he has stormed the rankings in the last 2 years, and he might be mentally more stable than your average teenager in the top-100. (is there any teenager up there anyway? think there's one...)

by the end he was in full flow he got better as the match wore on the future of french tennis here right now tsonga, gasquet monfils like or notTomBs wrote:supinesmokey13 wrote:it's dimitrov but he will soon turn 20
Actually he turned 20 9 days ago.
Solid performance by Federer today. Don't see how Teixeira would be the future of French tennis though, but maybe I should judge him not only by this match.
Wozniacki lucky to escape against Wozniak, facing 3 setpoints in the tiebreak. Awkward play on matchpoint by Wozniak though, not hitting a winner off the easiest smash you can imagine.
when you have that kind of talent it takes time develop it prime example federer within tthe next 18 months he would have made his moveTuurbine wrote:And I am still waiting for Dimitrov´s to take off! One more year to see what happens?
