Okay, now what? With Gulbis out, what are we gonna talk about for the next two weeks??

Exactly my point  OK, more boring Federer talk

So how good is Federer? Let's hear.

Debakker made it into 2nd round therefore better than gulbis

Personally I'm going to be talking about how awesome rafa is, unless he gets knocked out in which case everyone will talk about he is done and how his injury hampered him lol.

Grand Slams are different to the rest of tournaments, i´m not surprised about what happened with Gulbis, to play well the Grand Slams you need to be a good player, be physically well and the most important thing.... be mentally strong , and Gulbis needs to improve that aspect of his game

btw: Gulbis will be a top 5 sooner or later,no doubt, but it´s not the time yet

BTW...Fer lost his nerves against Gasquet, as it seems because Richard played hitting moonballs all the time

It's very true that Gasquet was playing a lot of moonballs (but they were NOT hitting the baseline! ;) )...But i saw the match and honestly Ver lost his nerves against the crowd...NOT against Gasquet...

And who the hell is this Daniel Brands??!?
(I found he looks a bit like Krajiceck!-physically...)

Edit : here is what i found about this Brands
"The German finished a year-end best No. 92 highlighted by a 35-23 Challenger record with one title and five SF showings…In ATP World Tour play, advanced to his first SF in Munich in May (l. to Youzhny in three sets)…Two months later reached 3rd RD in Hamburg, posting his first Top 10 win over No. 7 Simon (l. to Mathieu)…Closed season on home soil with title at Eckental (d. D. Brown), SF at Aachen (l. to R. Ram) and Salzburg (l. to Berrer) Challengers…Earned a career-high $165,713."
He lost to Paul-Henri Mathieu...And he took 2 sets to Tsonga?!?

Latvian 23rd seed Ernests Gulbis tries to remain positive after picking up a hamstring injury and retiring hurt during his first round clash against Julien Benneteau: "When I returned a serve, 2-1, second set, I stretched my leg, my hamstrings, and I heard two cracks. I'm going to get an MRI in hospital and check it. I will try not to be pessimistic for the grass court season. There are not many tournaments. Queen's, Wimbledon, I really enjoy, I enjoy playing on grass."

Taken from eurosport.

Your views? Is he injured or did he just want to get to the french ho's?

The "cracks" are what worries me. I heard cracks in my knee years ago... This doesn't sound good at all.

I agree. Even if he was hurt to some degree, come on, this is the French Open. You think Nadal would have bailed cause his leg had a boo-boo. Don't think so.
