Congrats to dementieva for her clear victory - that was a very good job !

I also think ..the william sister bitches have no chance to win the aussie open this year-

it will be not the year from the hippos !!

maybe next year - when they can loose 30 kg weight !

you never know though.....they only like to play the slams and they play much differently when it is grand slam time....we will see i hope they fall flat on their face as well this year too

Venus has not done well in Australia in recent years, Serena's serve can see her through a lot of matches before she has to find decent form at QF stages.

I really think Kim is favourite, she looks determined to peak at the Slams in her second career and I think mentally the only person she struggles with is Justine.

As long as Dementieva beats Justine she can reach Quarters easily. Dementieva always plays her best against Kim so she has a good chance of beating her. The problem is possible Semi against Sharapova.
