Gentlemen's Seeding Formula

Revised seeding arrangements for men introduced in 2001 when seedings committee disbanded. Formula amended in 2002 for men as follows:

Take ESP points at 16 June 2014

Add 100% points earned for all grass court tournament in past 12 months

Add 75% points earned for best grass court tournament in 12 months before that.

If ever there was a year to 'tweak' the seedings this would be the year i mean rafa hasnt won a grass court title in 4 years and hasnt made the 4 th rd or better in two so essentially nadal has gotten the no 2 seed of the strength of his world ranking completely and murray records over the last four years meaning nothing in that case scrap the this special criteria of seeding playersif it isnt a fair reflection of players performances on grass. Heck novak has made semis or better for the last four years so that is legit. Maybe the All England Club saw RG and queens, rogers shaky play at times in halle and decide to create the platform for a djodal final
