I thought Delpotro might have put a run together on the hardcourts after gradually improving all season but it hasn't quite happened for him.

Yeah, I didn't see the match but from what I read Federer was still all over him. I'm sure Del Potro will be back proper next year.

Also, Murray looks all young again now he has shaved. :lol:

I watched all the match. Altought Delpo is not in his best, it was the best performance by Fed in a long time, maybe since the Djoko´s match in RG.

He was hot in his first serve and didn´t allow Delpo to put pressure with his power strokes. Indeed, Federer won a lot power shots exchange. And when needed, the slices and volleys were very good.

Ah ok. So Del Po didn't have much chance then. At least, he won't till he gets back to his best.

Also, got a bet on Dimitrov to win, and he is currently a break up vs Ferrer.

Del Potro committed a LOT of unforced errors though, especially on his big forehand, he gave many free points.
Fed was great yeah, even if he wasted 5 break points on the second set's first game, but yeah, that was great Federer, I found he move very very well.
