Wow. What a return on set point. What is Rafa gonna do. I expect him to come back. But if he can't break Jon's serve this could get scary for Rafa.

I can see the anguish on his face.

Well, there's the break for Rafa.

Any predictions on the 5th set score? Someone bidding higher than 70-68?

Nadal will still come thru , all that Isner has is serve, he like a young version of Roddick

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Rafa pulls it out in a 5 set win!!!

Although, its not loking good for Rafa....If Isner pushes him to 5 sets, wats Fed or Djoker gonna do?

Nobody else on Tour can serve like Isner though, except maybe Ivo Karlovic. It's not just speed, he can hit massive kick serves and he places the ball better than Roddick. Plus Isner is better at the net than Karlovic or Roddick.

I went to high school with Isner....it's funny when they call him the "young American" because he's really not that young; he's older than Djokovic and Nadal.

But since he actually went to college, he is young to the tour.

I don't take too much from him pushing Nadal to 5 sets. How many times did he break Nadal? Once I think?

I do think Isner's kick serve is probably the only shot in the game that can get up high enough to really bother Nadal, especially since taking it early isn't really an option.

Yeah, but even that's misleading -- it's not like he just graduated from college last year and is only 22. He's been playing on the tour since 2007 and he's 26.

I remember watching Wimbledon a couple of years ago and they were talking about Isner's kick serve -- said it was literally unreturnable at times on the outside courts, because there wasn't enough room for his opponent to get to a spot on the court where he could actually play the ball.
