Qatar ExxonMobil Open - Gulbis VS Nadal

Postby djarvik » Wed, 05 Jan 2011 15:43

Well, Gulbis gets into QF again 8) Last year it was a 3 set loss to a number 1 at the time Roger Federer 2-6, 6-4, 4-6.

Same scenario - different number 1.

I know Nadal is an overwhelming favorite, but it will be so cool if Ernests can pull it off! This will get people talking for sure!

What do you think?

I have lost all faith in Gulbis after watching that match against Murray in Cincinnati. Murray played terrible, gulbis should have put him away, and didnt, no faith in him after that match

Gulbis had a great year. Career high ranking, big wins, close matches etc...

...and all of that in half a season, missing 2 grand slams and rest of the year due to injury.

If anything, I have more faith now - then EVER before in his career

Lack playing great, 5-0 second set! Nadal will still win though.
