OMG Roger!!

Federer defeated in SF by Montanes, 6-2 7-6(5)
His match looks pretty sad today : 50 unforced erros, a low rate of 1st serve, he moves slow around the ball and don't have angle in his shots.
It's quite worrying, 2 weeks before RG.
Furthermore, he got Wawrinka in his near draw part.
Doesn't he cares about win in Estoril? Can he rise his level in so little time?
This match was at least as ugly as my english is!

Considering how Federer has played the last too many weeks, "OMG" is no longer appropriate for a Federer loss. More appropriate: "OMG Federer has reached a final."

I can forgive him some losses but it is becoming totally unproffesional when he turns up and plays like this, what is he doing playing such a minor event I don't know, considering he can't get himself up for Masters at the moment.

I'm not expecting too much next week, but I still don't see him losing before the QF at Roland Garros, wherever his form is beforehand.

yeah with his current form, that 23 consecutive semifinals at the Slams, looks very likely to end at RG.

He has to play minor events - to stay in shape. With all these early exits, he isn't playing enough tennis.

By early August I'm expecting paunchy thighs and a beer gut.

Montañes is a specialist on clay, not such a surprise

Federer drops only one set against Montanes in their 3 previous meetings (2 of them were on clay...) and this lose shows that he had to work hard if he want to go further in RG.

Fed needs to be in good form to win on clay, and he´s not, that´s a fact, and in my opinion any specialist like Montañes, Ferrer, Nadal, Verdasco, Volandri.....GULBIS  wouldn´t have too much trouble to beat Roger nowadays, clay requires to be in good physycal condition, Federer wouldn´t have beat Montañes 6-3 6-2 on grass for example, good serve....short return---and forehand to finish the point, that kind of game on clay is almost impossible.

Conditions were very slow out there, and on clay against a specialist Federer really cannot get away with sloppy plays. Beating him is not a big hurdle mentally for players like it once was.

I agree, if there is one tournament he is going to find his best form at, it is Wimbledon.

In that case, a revenge of last year final from roddick would be magnificent!
