Is anyone else watching US Open qualifying?

In the United States its on CBS sports network. I tuned in yesterday thinking it might be lousy tennis. It's anything but lousy tennis. Every match up is new and different, the competion is evenly matched, figuring out each new players strengths/weaknesses and strategies is fun, and every match has huge stakes...a chance for a spot in the US open!

They say its the first time us open qualifying has ever been on national tv.

Not sure who you were watching, but I've watched parts of a few matches and they were all pretty lousy. It is cool that they're televising it though.
