Age won't impact his skills but other things like serve speed and of course stamina. 5 setters must be a pain for him and he's playing to avoid those. That Simon match at RG was just awful, especially compared to Rome.

I still think that he will be making a deep run but winning the whole thing will be more difficult that it was last year.
