The 24-year-old Australian, who stands 6’4” and weighs just shy of 15 stone, was competing at a second-tier tournament, the ATP Challenger event in Busan, South Korea, when he thundered a 163.4mph serve (263kph) past opponent Uladzimir Ignatik of Belarus.

Groth’s monstrous serving display included another measured at 157.5mph, and a third at 158.9mph – each faster than anything ever recorded on the ATP Tour.

The previous record was held by Ivo Karlovic, who sent down a 156mph serve during a Davis Cup tie between his native Croatia and Germany in 2011.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

One of the commentators at Berdych -Delpo mentioned it casually, couldn't really believe it but after seeing the guy...must be some crazy lucky shot to get in.

Edit: Similar physics to Berdych actually.

I love that serve motion sets him up perfectly for SnV.

With a Serve like that he really should be climbing the rankings pretty quick.
It does look like his game needs a lot of work though, but kudos.
To win is to achieve success. To compete and lose and try again is greatness

Amazing!!! 263 O_O

But, his forehand and backhand looks really weird, not skilled at all, specially at the end ...
