Nadal vs. Kuerten on clay (Prime vs. Prime)

After seeing final vs. Federer, i think more and more Nadal would not be able to defeat a prime Guga Kuerten.

Reason: Kuerten - instead of Federer - has an exceptional solid and dangerous backhand, also his forehand is no weakness at all, and he could move very well and had a big service.
I don t know how Nadal could hurt him...

Nadal wins finally over Federer and all others on clay because he makes less UE s, not by controlling the game by winners of his own.

Kuerten is 190 cm (6ft 3in) tall and his ankles are different as the one of Federer or Nadal.

Nadal - Kuerten would be one of the greatest matchups on clay ever, both prime, i guess he would be Nadal s hardest opponent alongside with Borg.

Year end No.1, a few RG titles and a Masters Cup, he wasnt bad.

How consistent was Kuerten, I remember watching him but I can't remember how steady he was in a grinding match.

Kuerten was a master of handling top spin.

He smoked Bruguera, Muster, Ferrero and Corretja in Roland Garros.

He had more problems with hard hitters. His best years were between 1997 and 2001.
He won RG 97, 00 and 01.
98 he was defeated by hard hitter Safin, 99 by hart hitter Medvedev.

I used to hate Kuerten back then, because of have him Kafelnikov never managed to win a second time in Roland Garros, who was kind of a childhood hero for me (he beat him 3 times there if i recall correctly, always pretty close).

the point is nadal topspin forhand to guga bh is not a problem given his height 6'3 same as nole and the main weapon the bh same as nole nadal has no.side to.attack so he wont easliy be able to dominate rallies. With fed by it clay or hard as far as it ia.high bouncing court rafa can easily attack the bh but as for.the wins at AO,Toronto,dubai rafa was just that little bit better when mattered most . But on low bouncing courts fed beats rafa 9/10 times unless rafa has given him an RG 08-like beatdown fed wins on the low bouncing courts. Man why does tsonga have meet fed in quarters.
