Del Potro Into Final

Still a long way to go but good to see him getting some wins under his belt and now into the final in Delray Beach.

Anyone seen any of this event and knows how he is hitting the ball?

Yeah totally awesome to see!

As for his level of play it's patchy, still far too up and down for my liking but yeah in those good patches he's hitting the ball well which is good to see.

he is getting better and better every day, he still makes unforced error and isn't as dominant with his forehand as in 08-09 but his tennis is slowly coming back. i remember the first tnt, san jose he didn't play so well but he reached the sf nevertheless, he played in memphis a little better and now despite he was very tired he played some pretty good tennis in todays final. delpo has risen almost 400 spots in just one month of tennis, that's pretty impresive for a comeback. he is now ranked 89 he was 480-somthing before san jose.

Here's hoping he humiliates The Mutant en route to said title.

If I were a player like Mutant I'd actually be scared to play JDP...he's gonna hit it so friggin hard you can't just keep pushing it back.

If he's not overpowering dudes, then his tactics sure are working. Which in turn will make him more dangerous as time goes on. As the power starts coming back it's going to add more variety to his already intimidating game.
