Serena Treated For Blood Clot

Postby fedfan » Wed, 02 Mar 2011 18:06

Read a report that Serena has been admitted to hospital with a blood clot on her lungs. Looking more and more likely her ongoing health problems might see her never return to the tour.

Bad for tennis. She really did bring something big to the game, and to think this happened only 2 days after she got her foot cast off and had already begun training.

And this just HAD to happen the year Dementieva retired!

Henin retired, Serena and Venus out with injury, this could have been Dementieva's chance at a slam. God how unlucky this woman is.
Work me a boss.

^^^^ What? :?

That is very unfortunate for Serena. I wish her well though! The embolism may have stemmed from her foot injury, being in a cast for a very long time.
Seems I can't cross that threshold just yet :(

This is bad. I think it wouldn't be harsh to say with the Williams increasing age, women's tennis is about to enter a dark ages.
