French Open could move away from Roland Garros in Paris

Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Seriously thou, I hope none of them move.

I plan a big tour for myself for 2011. I want to go and visit every Grand Slam! ...in the same year. Something I wanted to do for a long time and it looks like 2011 is the year.

Give a ring when you're in Paris. We'll welcome you as a prince !!

I've just heard the final of the event this year won't take place in the central of Rolland Garos.
It will happen a kilometer away in the greatest stadium of the country. the stadium of the football/soccer team of Paris (PSG) called "le parc des Princes".
If this is confirmed, it will be the hugest match of the history since 35000 person will be there !! They will put the same screens that has been used for the all star game this year.
It could be outstanding !

Have a look

Roland Garros stays in Paris

"Members of the French Tennis Federation, who have met this weekend for a general assembly, have chosen the project of the city of Paris, which envisages the enlargement and modernisation of the historic site at Porte d'Auteuil for the new Roland Garros," a statement said.

....btw it will be a new stadium for 8.000 people
