Semi-unrelated note: what's up with Nadal/Monfils and Federer/Gulbis wearing the same clothes? What? Are they all forced to shop at the ATP commissary?

Was that Federer's strategy, go down a set and a break and then start to play some good stuff? It worked, but those were some Jekyll and Hyde tactics out there. Don't think he was startsruck by the Real Madrid royalty in attendance.

Ernests, meet the real No. 1.

Latvian needn't worry, he can rest up for RG now.

"This tournament has been great for me so far," said Federer. "In all the matches I've hit the ball cleanly, serving well. There are no complaints from my side. Even the set I lost today was good."

From Eurosport.

If federer is saying that, Al is definately onto something here

Yes, but Federer has different standards. It's either decent, good, very good, great, brilliant, fenomenal or i'devenbagelnadal.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Yeah fair enough. It was a crazy call lol.
Although did anyone see him play monfils, wow just wow at his form. Also dam monfils can hit a hard forehand and he is always awesome to watch such an athletic and exciting player. Also was murray ferrer match really boring because the highlights even looked boring lol. I think they should make the side of the court the quicker player is on grass lol.
