- He was serving great second serves....probably second to Federer at the moment. Clutch serving was phenomenal.
- He picked apart both Nadal and Djoko with great shots, timely net rushes and absolutely wonderful 1H BH down the lines.
- What he lacked in speed, he made up for in shot selections and simply out smart the competition.
- Roddick was never in it - in my opinion. Lubicic was the aggressor in this one and made Rod look like a pusher at times.
I give all the credit to Lubicic. Well done, Congrats!
In the Djokovic match he was really struggling, at like 4-3 djokovic played a terrible game, made a few errors, gifted ljubicic a bp, then netted an easy BH after he had won the point,
At 4-4 djokovic had 15-40, 2nd serve, 80 MPH serve to Backhand with minimal spin, Djokovic puts too much on and longs it. At 5-6 he played more bvad points gifting a bp, djokovic gave ljubo the upper hand in the rally andljubo in fairness took advantage with nice volleys.
