I noticed it today and it seems a very interesting concept...

How did they rank the players? That is what I am interested about. Also, this will not determine who is the best of all time right? Well, I guess over time it will by they points accumulation.

Furthermore, I am thinking that they older players are not as youthful as before.

I am sorry. I typed as if they were playing. My question is how will they determine the ranking of these great players? That is hard to do, because you are talking about tennis players from different decades.

Okay. Thanks. In my opinion, they waited too long for this to happen. The older guys are not as good as before. :D

Q, did you even realise hwo they were gonna do it?

Ranking determined by Slam Wins. If Slam wins are equal, Number of titles in total are used for ranking.

And it is based on opinions of who would win in the match if both players played in their peak. It also said to imagine it is one set on clay, hard and grass ;)

So it is most likely the more popular players will come out trumps, but if people decide to play fair it will be interesting.

Yea. That is what I get for skimming while trying to play Le-Nix for the SF at Aussie Open. LOL.

After looking at it again, I see this clearly, "Eurosport-Yahoo! has set up a new tennis tournament to find who is the greatest men's tennis player of all time - and ultimately it will be up to you, the readers, to decide."

:P :P :P

Thanks guys, and I am sorry. Still, some players, like you said will not be accurate. The only way it can be the GOAT tournament is to actually sponsor it.

They did the exact same thing a while back in the british tennis magazine Ace. I don't remember who won, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Federer.
