I wanted to make this interesting statistic as it nicely shows to what extent we, the ITST community, actually desire to play the match instead of hunting walkovers.
For clarification, i "only" took care of the main tour, which means all tournaments excluding challengers and futures. Also i did not processed the doubles tour as the tournaments played and sign ups were too negligent.
Enjoy the reading.
ENTIRE 2015 SEASON
Total amount of matches: 2253
Total amount of walkovers: 618
Total percentage of actual played matches: 72,57 %
Total percentage of actual walkovers: 27,43 %
As we can see, only a little more than every 4th match was decided by walkover, which is a great statistic considering the 2015 season enjoyed the most active players in history of Tennis Elobw 2013 ITST.
PARTIAL STATISTICS
GrandSlams
Total amount of matches: 391

Roland Garros 2015:

Total amount of matches: 114
Total amount of walkovers: 36
Total percentage of actual played matches: 68,42 %
Total percentage of actual walkovers: 31,58 %
As we can see, if it were not of the much bigger percentage of walkovers in Wimbledon and US Open, which was mainly caused by Djarvik's mass mails (yes im lookoing at you), we could have achieved the percentage of walkovers somewhere around 20% level. Despite that, it was still on venerable 27,63 %, which is only 0,20 % more than Entire 2015 Season average.
Masters 1000 (including World Tour Finals 2015)
Total amount of matches: 619
Total amount of walkovers: 163
Total percentage of actual played matches: 73,37 %
Total percentage of actual walkovers: 26,63 %
It is interesting to see that despite more matches played on Masters 1000 level, the percentage of walkovers is lower than in GrandSlams, which could make impression of poeple caring more about Masters 1000 tournaments, which i personally find interesting. On the other hand, considering that there is total of 10 tournaments of this particular category, which is 250 % more than Grandslam tournaments, it "only" had 58,31 % more sign ups which is considerably lower.
First Half of Season (until Roland Garros, including RG)
Total amount of matches: 1061
Total amount of walkovers: 283
Total percentage of actual played matches: 73,33 %
Total percentage of actual walkovers: 26,67 %
Second Half of Season (from Grass Season till WTF)
Total amount of matches: 1192
Total amount of walkovers: 335
Total percentage of actual played matches: 71,90 %
Total percentage of actual walkovers: 28,10 %
As many would expect, people are generally more hyped and enthusiastic during the first half of season opposed to the second half when people are already weared down by the long clay season. The other fact which caused second half to have more walkovers is already mentioned hight percentage of walkovers in Wimbledon and US Open, which both are part of second half season statistic.
SURFACES
Hardcourts (including Plexicushion and Cement)
Total amount of matches: 825

Grass
Total amount of matches: 289
Total amount of walkovers: 82
Total percentage of actual played matches: 71,63 %
Total percentage of actual walkovers: 28,37 %
Indoors
Total amount of matches: 341
Total amount of walkovers: 88
Total percentage of actual played matches: 74,19 %
Total percentage of actual walkovers: 25,81 %
Indoors had the least percentage of walkovers, which is pretty interesting as players tends to be more careless about their matches during the last part of the season, or at least such was the general opinion. Even though highest percentage of unscheduled matches were on Hardcourts, there was also the highest amount of matches. Taking this into consideration, we could say grass is least favourite surface in general.

I guess that would be it. All in all the stats are looking, in my opinion, very promising, especially the fact that not even a single tournament had 50 % or more of walkovers which is obviously great. I hope it will get even better in 2016 season. Also, if anyone would like to see some other stat related EXACTLY to this stats, let me know and i may include it in update.
