defense

Postby Fez » Wed, 07 Aug 2013 18:59

I just don't understand it. I just played a couple matches where every time my opponent was in trouble, he would hit a deep soaring strike that touched my baseline! Every damn time, bailing him out of trouble. That makes no sense. I get those once in a while, even when my racket is in good position. I"m sick of this. It decides the game.

Just stop playing. TE is a pro backboarder game and that is not gonna change. 80% of people i play receive serve while standing next to the linesman and keep playing from there. I just wait for TS5 and see if it's any good. Anyone interested in a cheap TE license?

Nadal returns 5 meters from baseline as well in real life...

Yes 1 player of the guys on the ATP Tour. I hope you can admit that most of the guys on the Tour don't press their ass up the linesman's face when returning....

As in TE actually...

Guys playing that far from baseline are far from being a majority. You say things like that without having played any official matches, it's ridiculous :/

Not as ridiculous as when someone is whining for months about opponents using lobs against net players, or accusing defenders to defend from far behind baseline on clay like it's cheating

Any other hilarious accusations for your account or did you make enough a fool of yourself now towards the community since RG ?

Well said :D
I thought you said you would only complain about topspin 4 lobs c4ill...now you're complaining about TE lobs too...it never ends
People who know how to anticipate lobs never complain about them.

Two of the cheesiest persons from the the two different itst communities making an alliance it's really cute and entertaining

For your information, I have nothing against lobs in TE, nothing against defenders or whatever. If you have fun playing 5 meters from baseline with a high delay like Felipe M and you appreciate winning like that, it's your problem : it's legal, but boring for your opponent as in real life and thus borderline on a website that initially promote a gentleman behavior.

It's actually quite ironic I've to defend myself on that whereas I'm the one who defends the most the variety of styles around when people complain about big servers like Raonic or awful defenders like you.

Awful defenders like me, wow you must have really been annoyed by that 4-6 6-1 6-2 6-2 I inflicted you :(

Btw you should have seen people on the chat saying that it was really pleasant to see someone correct you with such a severe score on tour, but I guess it's really bad educate to be "critizing people on public itst chat when they're not present" as you said, better wait each time for the guy to connect to talk about him :c

Next time before doing your drama queen show, first check out if your opponent doesn't have one of the best connexions on tour instead of whining like a sore loser.

Florian Florian Florain U are a God :) Ur so boring dude it actually makes me laugh how much of a queen u can be and how ridiculous you are. I find it funny how you insult C4iLL and how you talk about behaviours, at least i show what i am I'm not a fake "pleaser" Like you, and C4iLL he's a nice guy on the contraire you are so boring. And ur style of "Walls" is annoying too, thank god people are starting to open their eyes and to see what you really are ;)

And when becomes to being cheesy and Lobs and that C4iLL has faced me before and yes i was a bit cheesy and he didn't say a word. That shows character and personality, Florian u were always boring and a queen and u will always be...

What is this all about people ? What actually both of you are annoyed of , i dont get it. First of all i like the attacking style ( since im trying to play such style ) much more then defenders style but i dont have any issue to play against florian vram or sorauze whose are pure defenders nor i have any problems to cope with many lobs, actually im more satisfied when opponent is giving me a chance to smash since its much easier to finish the point than with volleys. So i dont know whats the problem here. Both with C4 and Florian we have nice relationship respecting each other, experiencing polite, kind and funny matches , so i wonder whats going on between you two. Because of some bad connection in some already forgotten, meaningless match ? Really ? You should stop it seriously its awkward.

Well you get it all right pidzi, I'm personally mad at no one, since there is at least respect. I thought caill had moved on from that RG match, but he visibly was still very angry since he thought necessary to comment a post in a tournie he wasn't even in, and since the topic was locked I just wanted to have a chance to respond some place where you can't be called a backstabber

And as you can see, the worst people seem to be willing to help each other and I'm cool with that.

Back in MG tour I was a counter and tried to play as fast as possible (same in ITST until the end of autopos), but once I couldn't play as good as before, I had to play with what's left of my strengths, so I turned into a defensive style. Didn't chose to do that, but I had to if I still wanted to win some matches.

So when against a guy like caill with a poor connexion you have to host high delay to prevent glitches, lose the 1st set, ask for hosting again and eventually agree to change nothing, then you find solutions on court, destroy the guy next 3 sets, and after that you get called a cheater ? That's just sore losing and poor sportsmanship, period. And everybody agreed that caill was just ridiculous in that case.

And to alex : I guess that no one has to receive any lesson from a guy like you, who makes fun of a player you just lost a match. That's just disgusting and miserable, and you must have some trouble in your life, to swap all your anger into this tennis game. I'm sorry for you, really.

I'm done here, said everything I wanted to.

This thread is done as well. If I see something in that direction again there will be up to two French players less at US Open.
