Devil Turtles

I'm aware of the basic lag policy, but just clear something up for me.

I was just playing a great match in Wimby with spencercarlos, who is a good player and good sportsman btw, and we were dealing with a bit of lag, a few turtles here and there that we both agreed to put up with.

But in 5th deciding set at 5-4 his serve, I got hit with three turtles in a row right at the moment of strike that caused me to miss the ball completely (u know the ones), that made the score 40-0. Is their any recourse to take in a situation like that? I mean, what if it was a Grand Slam final that was decided by 3 critical lag points? True, spencer could very well have won the match anyway on serve, but man, that just totally sucked.

Well it seems he's from Venezuela and his ranking is better than yours. What do I mean is unless you're really step above those players with high ping you can't defeat them.
That's personal experience from my match against MichaelD. During normal rallies he's not special at all. But he knew what consistency meant, while I was playing in such a condition for the 1st time.

Ping jumps were up from 189ms all the way to 270 most of the time. In that conditions there are no such things as aim, goal, beautiful shots. I just blew all the balls to sidelines because ping kept changing as well as sensitivity.

BTW we had lots of turtles too, so yeah, if you match up against south american consider that match lost.
