How do I bind 2 buttons to one button?

Postby Uchiha Muss » Fri, 05 Apr 2013 12:18

Hi guys.

I would love to know, how to combine the strike that requires 2 button e.g. down+b1 is top spin to just one button. Let's say Q button. How do I do it? I know it's sort of possible somehow.
Or let's say put the short acceleration to one X button.

Go to remap strikes.
There set Fire 4 as Q and set top spin on fire 4 - any.

What a shame! I did that and I couldn't achieve what I wanted.

My goal was to do a passing shot like nadal does. But not just a passing shot, but the ones with "Banana" spin. Here is an example of that shot (it's the winner strike at the end by nadal.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9HV_swF_XY.

Here are the requirements for it:
Secret strikes :
to do a topspin strike with a side effect : press B1, then B1+up, then B1+down.

That's 3 buttons for just one shot. I definitely can't do that in a high pressure match with less than a second to strike my next shot. I just wanted a bit of shortcut to make it easier. I combined up+b1 to Q. Then in the practice I tried down+Q.
To my disappointment it didn't work.

Man that was such a discovery! Buried at the bottom of the documentation.

My top spin is at W.
For the bananashot, do press your normal strike b1 (in my case A) and when the ball is close release it and press your top spin button (in my case W), during this process aim down.

So you can pretty much do it the same way as fire1+2? I tried what you said, A, release and Q but it didn't work for me.
But thanks anyway I'm focusing on my movement so I'll leave it as it is for a while. I'll probably use it in the next evolution of my tennis level.
