This game is not technique totally based, so having a 3d court is making me caring too much about camera setting, instead of focusing on tactical and overall gaming improvement.
Those experienced players started with TE 2009 and back then there was only a 2D Mode -- their Key only allows playing in 2D Mode, they'd need to buy a new Key to play in 3D Mode. For me the 3D Mode (I play in standard camera put on mild dynamic) helps with perception of depth -- something I see those playing in 2D Mode struggling more.

But it's also true, of course, that 2d mode has some bad courts, and, even if the opponent agrees to change court, there can be slight differences between courts with the same surface (i mean ball speed, friction, etc.). We should try then to replace some bad 2d courts with playable ones, even if it's not always possible, as some courts have very low stands. We'll see.
There are no differences with courts on the same surface (the surface specifications are the same, except for grass season where Wimbledon court is a tad bit slower than the other grass courts) -- the different camera heights/angles give a slower/faster perception of the same surface. For example Paris Bercy and London O2 Arena have a slow feeling in 2D Mode (I guess that's why some players picked London O2 Arena for current indoor courts

).
