After my match against Don, a great DMT player, I was ready for Clog. But after seeing his result against Alex... well...
In this match he played with another computer, wasn't so comfortabel. This may be the reason, that the score was so close. But also, that I had so much problems to read his serves. Over 20 aces he hitted, with Nadal...
Anyway, I had in the first set 4 breaks chances, but at the end the screen showed 0/4 Break... Wasn't able to keep the concentration at these great opportunities. At the score 4:4, he was serving, the score was 15:40, but there he came back to 40:40. At this score we fought like crazy. Many advantages for him, and two breaks for me ( so total 4 ). But then, well... 4:5 and the only break he got, were successful... 4:6!
The second set was extremly close, great exchanges, he reached the ball sometimes, that I couldn't believe it. So quick reactions. We landed in Tie Break, first serve for me and lost the one. he in front with 0:3, at the end it was 5:7.
I have to say, that Nadal in good hands, it is so hard to do something in your favour. But with my slice tactic and many deep normal and TS shots, I created manytime spaces for winners inside out. Also watching constantly the stamina. Volley was extremy difficult. I practiced a lot volleys, but with these extremely Top Spins shots it's so hard.
The changes in 1.11 with lower stamina is a BIG win I would like to say.
