2013 season is upon us, if we make it past the Maya’s version of the end of the world, and we are excited as ever! Tennis Elbow tour has become the biggest tour in ITST and we are very proud to support such a fantastic tennis SIM. Please read all of the announcements below.
Before we begin, I would like to give special thanks to all of our hosts and Vmoe and Robbin for their excellent work behind the scenes, both it hosting and developing our Patch. I would also like to give an extra special thanks to Elias – our Lead TE Developer and the man who actually does most of the legwork when it comes down to ITST Patch. We appreciate all you did and all you are doing for this community and thank you for donating a big part of your free time.
Now to the 2013 season and what is planned.
- First, the Tournaments are open for sign up! We have tried mid last season to open a sign-up two weeks in advance and release the draws as early as Friday, we are going ahead with this schedule as we are pleased with the results. You will continue to be able to plan your participation for two week in advance.
- When signing up for tournaments you will notice two of them being tagged with ELITE-TRIAL. These tournaments will be played with Elite controls as opposed to SIM and will be a source of feedback for Management. They WILL carry points as they will run side-by-side with the SIM tournaments. If you would like to participate in the trial tournaments, please sign-up and be ready to report your feedback in appropriate threads, as well as post screen shots of the stats. DMO is optional but will be a big help. You will be rewarded with points for your participation but will not be able to participate in a SIM tournament that week. - Robin Soderling is being placed on an injured list and will be replaced with Tommy Haas, there is a separate announcement thread for it. Please make necessary arrangements if you are using him as your character.
- A new Lag handling policy in action. Please read a separate announcement thread on it. We are very serious about your experience here at ITST and will do our best to maintain it a positive one.
- Challengers and Futures for the first two weeks will remain: Ranked 20+ for Challengers, Ranked 35+ for Futures.
