This will be for sure a very interesting tournament because the new patch is here and we are using build 1.0f. I had a look at new stats and serve stats have been changed quite dramaticly :o . I'm eager to see what kind of affect this will have on players. Good tournament for everyone, I see there is again quite many Federer's chosen

The changes are not that dramatic and if a serve motion is easy to trigger -- as it is the case with Federer's -- then you can still serve well, but it will take a bit more skill. Enjoy these stats while they last. ;)

His spin has been lowered a bit, which should result slightly faster average ball speed. His BH has been weakened a bit, but if you take a look at the stamina changes, then he has an advantage in that regard now. I'll choose Nadal for the next tournament above ITST 1000 category, because I think Nadal really is Tier 1. ;)

The F version is really really strange : the ball trajectories look weird, the game seems a lot more arcade with an increased speed.

And what about the serve ? It seems the gameplay mechanism of that shot has completely changed

I agree about this kinda more arcade feeling in moving/positionning, probably due to the new "auto-step back" feature in action (ment to help gamepad users to change direction easyer, though this thing is active even when you're not hitting a stroke button, unelikely to auto-pos, thus even when you're freely moving sometimes it drags you to the ball, if most of the time it should 'help', i feel often somewhat more constrained in my moves than anything) in comparison to 1.0e, i don't like this feeling either, i wish it was at least optional, i'm just allergic to any form of auto-things wich takes away some sim aspect/depth to the gameplay :| . Though i didn't felt the ball trajectories changed.

This is probably due mainly to the decreased consistencies. Try with the test 1.10 version with higher consistencies to check the difference i think you will have the confirmation of this. Lowered precisions also probably makes it a bit harder to aim.

Kono (Nadal) def. Goroger1 (Federer) 6/3 7/5

Goroger1 served well most of the time but in the first set I managed to break him at 4/3 situation and kept my own serve. Second set was tough also, although I didn't have problems with my serving game and then I broke him at 5/5. Then I served well enough for win.

I still have problems with returning but now I was winning the most of long rallies which was important. I tried to attack on his 2nd serves and it worked out good enough. Thanks and gl for future goroger! Next opponent is again Federer, let's see what happens :c

About the serve : before, you didn't have to keep the button pushed to hit the ball correctly ; now you have to keep it pushed to make a serve, it's strange.

About the trajectory, they look more "round" more floating in air, and less natural & realistic. It looks more like a game than before... Before it looks as a real tennis match !

Only Manutoo could describe that, but I'm 100% sure there's something different in the way the ball flyes ; and this new way sux as it's less realistic than before and less "fluide".

He is probably very young, 10-12, and thinks he discovered a way to win a tournament with hitting 1 ball. 8)

You gonna break his little heart.

He at least knows how to sign up for tournaments and how to report a match result. Funny sidenote: We scheduled (!) to "play" on Friday. So I did not expect this incident tonight, but a bit later.
