The opening day for the most prestigious and competitive tournament since the beginning of the TE tour has arrived!

The draw is released and there are 38 contenders for the title!

Any thoughts on your first round opponents or title predictions?

I play Rodrigues16 which is quite funny because yesterday we practiced together and he hoped for a lucky draw, I sure hope I'm not what he wished for!

Hehe, good one.

I´ll play against a newcomer in the tour, Juani. So I really don´t know what to expect...

I play against Aziz.

He had a close result against Elias.

Maybe if I can keep the focus, I can procure him a little bit trouble. But I don't think to pass the first round. Much things in my mind at the moment, we'll see.

Any Advice Perfect Ace, Roberto? You lost close against him, 6:7 3:6.

the 1, 2 & 3 ranked guys will be at the end the winner I think.
kyuuji, TWM-Fox or Elias ( Elias: just if he has his mind free)

Watch out for inseedious, he plays great, reactions like a robot!! :)

And also Mr. Fairness Eliomelma we should not forget!!

Good tournament for everyone!

inseedious plays great indeed.

He paints the lines on both wings with Gasquet and serves very clever!

ITST Mod 1.08 Additional Patch

Unfortunately the latest version of our mod contained some serious flaws in some of the characters. We try our best to make a balanced mod but these flaws had not come up until last night. Because this could lead to serious balance issues during the tournament we can not wait until the US Open has ended.

That is why we are releasing this additional patch for the 1.08 Mod. This patch is mandatory for all US Open participants. It will also be included in the new download of the ITST 1.08 Mod. This is the download link for the patch:

http://www.mediafire.com/?hqeg9yrxxg5mxmu

Just copy the contents in your current TE installation folder, and overwrite the Profiles folder when prompted to. This download will update your mod to the latest version.

To accomodate the members that are affected we are allowing a change of character if you use one of the following characters: Del Potro, Gasquet, Dolgopolov and Davydenko. If you wish to change character please let me know before your first match.

Our apologies for this course of action. But we feel that to ensure the fairness level of the tour this has to be done. Please check the CRC number of your opponent before the match to see if your opponent has downloaded this patch.

Hi Marco.

You can expect a tough match. He is very agressive and has good positioning. Low 1st serve percentage is a dead against him.

As I´ve played against both you, I can say that it will be a close match.

Good luck guys.

G.Dimitrov (BUL) (Dimitrov) def. SlicerITST(Tsonga) 6/3 6/2 6/1.

Well, first USO match at ITST tour. :)

First set we was playing equal to 4-3* when he just stopped doing first services. And then the whole match was like this. :( 55 % for whole match. LOL. He did 3 DF, not that bad for 3 sets match. ;) I was just great at BP 7/6. ;) So good match. GL in future. :)

Playing with Grigor Dimitrov is great! :))

Lost against Aziz 4-6, 6-3, 1-6, 0-6.

In the first set I was leading 4:1, lost then 5 games in a row, incredible!!
Don't ask me why, I don't know it. I felt sure, that the first set was mine maybe. So I lost concentration...

In the second set the same, leading 4:1, and then he came back to 4:3, but then I increased my focus and could bring the set at home.

Then what happened.... well, I lost everything, cause I was frustrated and angry at the same time...

Dear Aziz, I don't know how old you are, but as a over thirty, i would like, that you would increase your fairness level.

In my opinion you hitted to many drop balls. Ok, I returned they with many lobs, wasn't also very fair. Many crucial winners with net rollers ( Netzroller auf Deutsch ), you never gave me a sign of sorry or something. Ok, this must no be, but would have be nice.
And if someone ask you after a set, to pause for 20 seconds, please don't ask why. 20 sec is not a long time.

And the most disappointed thing was, you continued to play after YOU asked for a pause. I wasn't ready and you scored the point.. I became angry there, just that you know that young man.

but ok, next time, prepare yourself, you will wait a better prepared Marco.... I hope... 8)

Good luck against Elias, you will need it.

Of course you can make your statement about the match, maybe you think it wasn't so, and I were unsporty. Curious, what you have to say.

Elio, I don't have any replay, ufortunately...

It's my fault, I lost. I had to be more cheeky.

But it's ok for me now, I am not vindictive at all. 8)
But I would like to hear, what Aziz has to say about these or those "accusations".

In bocca al lupo per il torneo e che crepi.

ciao

The fifth set at 6-6 is a tiebreak in the US Open right?
So no two games difference in the final set, but a final tiebreak.
