Ranking ITST of the characters

Postby C4iLL » Sat, 04 Aug 2012 17:09

As I had time today, I looked all the results since the beginning of the tour in order to compil a ranking of the characters.

For every tournament, I took the best performance done by each character of the draw.
I've counted the very last tournaments (challenge in Belgium + bet-at-home).

1) Djokovic = 5860 (titles : Barcelone, BMW Open, Power Horse, Roland Garros, Wimbledon)
2) Federer = 5605 (titles : Madrid, Rome, Gary Weber, Aegon International, Marburg Challenger, Campbell)
3) Tsonga = 1730
4) Youzhny = 1625
5) Simon = 1580 (titles : Monte Carlo, US Men)
6) Davydenko = 1185
7) Llodra = 1025
8.Ferrer = 815 (title : bet-at-home)
9) Del Potro = 655
10) Fish = 600
11) Monfils = 515
12) Wawrinka = 510
13) Murray = 420
14) Nadal = 390
15) Soderling = 390
16) Harrisson = 360
17. Verdasco = 360
18. Berdych = 360
19) Dolgopolov = 185
20) Gasquet = 175
21) Raonic = 135
22) Dimitrov = 105
23) Gulbis = 100
24) Nalbandian = 95
25) Stepanek = 90
26) Almagro = 90
27) Roddick = 75
28. Lopez = 25
29) Isner = 5
30) Melzer = 5
31) Cilic = 5

Djokovic leads the ranking with 2 Gran Slams, but Fed' is near him with 2 M1000 and several ATP 250.
Tsonga is high because of his final @RG ; Youzhny, Simon and Davydenko did a great beginning but look in holidays recently.
Murray and Nadal are sleeping, they are maybe not interested by the ITST tour ?!
Roddick, Gulbis and Nalbandian are near retirement. And Nishikori will appear in his first tournament this week.

3 frenchies in the top10 anyway !

ps : Don't hesitate to update the ranking it if I don't do it, it's interesting I think ;)

In fact I don't know why.. I have once played TE 2011 for few months but I didn't know about real life- like tournaments so I got kinda bored with single online games. And I was bad too  . But still it was the best tennis game that I had ever played. I have thought many times that I should install this game again but I've been too lazy to do it yet. Maybe in the future, and now I have heard that I could play with Ps3 controller so we'll see

nice idea :)

I guess Murray is slowly waking up from his sleep and i heard Nadal should be back for Cincinnati or Us Open :)
Simon is already in QF @ Citi Open.. let's see if he can do better :)
Roddick and Nalbandian probably needs some vitamins :!:

And Berdych, where is Berdych ??? ah n°18 .. this guy is underrated, beware :!:

Very interesting statistics, thanks so much for your effort C4iLL and polca!
We should keep polca's model and update once in a while and write which was the last tournament counted.

I expect to see Gasquet,Verdasco,Delpo and Murray to climb the rankings because I think they are of the best chars around.Probably better than Tsonga,Youzhny,Simon and Llodra for example.

Well Llodra has to thank C4iLL of course!
And I guess I'm in a way responsible for Youzhny's unexpectedly high rank, but after the previous mod I really think his animations were messed up and he is not as enjoyable to play as he used to...

I already am ok for updating my post at every tournament finished :)

Also I would be intereting about doing more stuff about that : for instance, for each player, who scored the points, etc.

For those who may be interested (I don't think anybody will be  ), I did 36 txt files (one = 1 player) with the repartition of each player's points (who earned them).

I don't know, maybe some might be motivated to be the "leader" of a player ;) If some of you like this, I'll update it each time a tournament ends.

Tell me if you want me to update it often ;) And sorry if you think it is useless, it probably is but I had time this evening

Yeah, this is a good idea. :) But maybe it will be better to have ranking in the archive. :) I vote - yes for that this file to be update often. :)

Interesting stats.

I am wondering why Nadal is so low in it.

Sure he is a Lefty and you have to like that, but his Style, his Spins and everything he is good why, is good representet with his Character-Stats, the Physics and the Animations.

Because it is so hard to hit winner with 85 % top spin. ;) Have hard backhand and only the best players like players from top 6 could play with him very good. :)

I think that in clay he's unbeatable (really, maybe overpowered even), but on hard surfaces, he's as the real Nadal was earlier in his career : good but not as great as the others.
