I'm sure goroger1 starts thinking these draws are rigged -- once again he draws me in his first match.

Yes many times against you, one time against me, and then Elias and Otlichno! What a bad draw!!!!!I think he is dejected and hope not give up.

p.s. look at TWM-Fox......... he won against San and in online lobby i just saw a match named: kyuuji vs fox 5/6......if Fox is him you are in trouble....

5 times we've played with Sanchez and he's getting better every time we play!I think grass suits him more than clay.

The match was mostly played around serving and returning with very few rallies. On grass I felt I had to guess much more than clay because of the faster balls and low bounce when my opponent accelerated it was very tough to respond.

I struggled holding my serves while Sanchez held pretty easily with great precision and high 1st serve percentage.
Melzer's incosistent serve proved a liability for me and Sanchez read my 2nd serve greatly and put pressure on it.

Unfortunately I can't post stats cause in the 2nd set the game froze and we had to restart.

No surprise since 7/15 signups are Federers...

As long as I serve well and am aggressive I can compete (and Youzhny has a good serve from what I can tell, also his jump bonus at the net is nice). If someone plays better than me, ok, then I move on to Queens as Raonic or Gulbis (forgot which one of the two I took, but I believe it was Raonic). Competition is good for the tour. First I have to beat Goroger1, though.

Honestly the game is about serving/returning and often easy winners in the very first hits even on *clay* due to the physics change. The game is much less competitive in this form due to the lack of gameplay depth (power/movement imbalance) and it's the same @ Managames tour at this time, where i can see some awkwards and randoms results (this doesn't mean people are not improving in here but this had to be pointed out).

i'll just wait for the next Manutoo build and then balance this as good as possible. For now it's mostly bingo tennis, don't jump to easy conclusions. Hopefully this game is highly tweakable.

ha, i just saw build 89 is out.

@Elias: Yes, that's true, I did not want to put it that drastic. If one can serve well and is good at the one-two-punch he will be competitive. That's all what you have to take care of at the moment in the game. Play one good return game (or hope for one bad service game) and that's it.

EDIT: The new version sounds interesting, looking forward to testing it tonight.

I will test Federer for Wimbledon in this tournament but in Queens i will play with Soderling, i would like know why never one choose him. Yes he is slow but great serve and wings

Yes true wimbledon has not the same physics (slightly higher bounce). You can use all grass courts (halle, aegon, newport..) except wimbledon and london olympics (wich is wimbledon too). Check newport if you want a good 2D cam (it's brighton court from grand slam tennis 2).

At the Gerry Weber Open you play at Halle -- order from the tournament host. ;) Of course, if both players agree to play on another grass court because they don't like this court (camera angle or brightness), you can do so.
