By pressing F6 while in the game one can see other's CRC number. This CRC number will be unique for each player. If your opponent has changed any stat his CRC number will not be the same as it should be.

We will post the CRC numbers on the forum so you can check if your opponent hasn't changed his player.

That's exactly the point. Good to know that there's a way to check it.
By the way...I'd like to join the tour but I'm wondering if I can play both DMT and TE tennis games at the same time..:D
Cheers

Do you mean if the website allows it? Short answer is yes. No problem.

Go to the dmt home page of ITST. On the top you will see a link to your personal page. After that go to the link called "Change your user profile". On that page check the PC TE11 player checkbox. Now you will be able to sign up for tournaments of that tour.

Djarvik could you post the instructions to solve the 4321 port error or a link for that? Thanks

What happens when a new version of TE comes out? How does that affect the ITST patch?

We will immediately issue an update as well.

@Ugadalou - will do it in the near future, a bit busy at the moment. If any of you guys want to make that post/tutorial - I can make it a sticky in this forum.

i re-installed new version from scratch, then applied sam patch (removing .pak and build.txt files from it before applying), then applied ITST patch, then it works with last version.

If you both use the previous version you can play online with a direct link. Ill make a quick guide now. Sorry that the pictures are in Dutch. It shouldnt be a problem though.

Go to the network game page. There you will see your IP on the top of the page. In the picture it is the line that has a red box around it. Give this information to your opponent if you are the one creating the room.

Now make a room and enter the following preferences:

Type: Prive or Private.
Controls: Simulation
Mode: Free Mode (since we use preset players)

Your opponent is now going to click the join a room link. In the menu that is shown in the picture below he will have to enter the IP you sent him in the bottom line. After that click the link that is highlighted in the picture below and the match should start.

yes thanks to Elias, when you install ITST patch you must copy it without pak2 in DATA folder and build and buildmac in MENU folder

I think until there's a new ITST patch, you must stay on the old version of TE, and create private room like Slicer showed.

I heard a lot of players saying they could play just fine with the patch... I honestly don't want to spend all my time changing files around each time I'm about to play a match, especially because I have virtually no idea what file does exactly what in terms of game play. (and I rarely have time to disect each folder to figure out where an error is coming from :-()

Thankfully I've been matched against patient players who don't mind educating me on what folder to move where.

I'm going to back up the TE file, the Sam's Patch File, and the ITST patch file (make copies of all of them) so if there's a problem with one, I'll have a backup readily available.
