ITST Mod 1.18 - What do you need to get started!

Thank you for taking time to reply. I understand and know desyncing issue and that's already a great reason by itself for you guys to not release any version updates. I was just curious to know if it is an easy task to implement these kind of updates. Maybe you guys should let Lucian and all other modders to not release these new anims if you are not thinking about releasing any updates in a short term period

ITST Mod 1.17 installer has been updated :


It's not mandatory to install. If you do, you can simply install it over your previous installation.
(the download link has not changed, so you can just re-download the mod from the first post
of this thread).

Changes :


- Modified the installer so it should detect TE installation path for the Steam version, if it's installed.
The installer still works for Steam or non-Steam installs, but that should make the installation for Steam
users easyer. If for some reason TE Steam folder is not detected properly, you can simply install pointing
to the TE Steam folder, wich is : ../Steam/SteamApps/common/Tennis Elbow 2013.

- Added an icon/link for ITST Mod Steam Group ( http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ITSTMod ).
Feel free to join this Steam group if your are a Steam user, we will announce the mod there pretty soon, wich
may be a nice tool to extend our community base.

- Added a new scoreboard/statboard option. In addition to ITST 1000, 500, and 250, you will find a 4th one,
named DEFAULT, wich will show the ITST 1000 small and in-between games SB's, along with the TE vanilla
blue statboard. This for people having trouble to read the new statboards and in waiting to eventually improve them.

- The scoreboards overlaying chat issue, is fixed, but only for the Steam version of the game at this time. I
couldn't fix this a straightforward way by myself, so this one is fixed thanks to Manutoo who changed the
layering order in his last Steam TE update. It seems to work perfectly so i think he will report this change
in the next TE non-steam update as well.

- An issue with 3D stadium court textures not displaying with the Steam version has been fixed.

Problem with mod 1.7

Hi I have two problems when you installed the version 1.17 :

1-career mode disappears from the start menu and the career mode is replaced by a chat software.

2-I can't play games online with players who do not have the mod 1.17


If these two problems have no solution, how can I uninstall the mod and return to the initial version of the game?

Why all scoreboards except 250, 500 and 1000 were removed in 1.17? I miss them.

But i really want a the grandslam scoreboards and i hope it will be 2014 ones

I coudln't keep both because mixing old ones with new ones would be too messy, scripting wise.
This, because Tennis Elbow since 1-2 years now, uses a different method/code for scoreboards, named
CustomHud, wich is used for creating most of the scoreboards released currently.
The old ones, used an older method, new ones, the new one..

I'll probably add more scoreboards in the future, WTF, and grand slams ones probably. Can't tell you when
but it's in my plans to do it.

Well, it seems like you are playing with ITST 1.16 mod if you have these scoreboards. Just install the new version 1.17.

Hi, i have a problem when installing the mod
I followed the instructions, installed it with a clean Tennis Elbow 1.0f, created ITST Mod after using the ITST installer, still i can't get all 68 players

What can i do? My next opponent will be using Janowicz, which i don't have in my mod.

This one, is an issue with non-unicode special characters applications and the way windows handle them.

This bug can be fixed by going in Control Panel, language and region, administration tab. And there,
change the language selected for non-unicode programs (try US English of French, it works here with both),
then reboot, and re-install the mod.

Well, it seems like you are playing with ITST 1.16 mod if you have these scoreboards. Just install the new version 1.17.

I have the three scoreboards (itst1000,250,500) in mod 1.16. In mod 1.17 i have only ITST1000. Not 250 and 500. It's normal?

No, not normal, in 1.17, there is 1000, 500, and 250 scoreboards.

mixed installs / mismatch maybe ?
if you install a fresh new TE + mod 1.17, you shouldn't have such issue.
