Regardless of the quality of the sound, I've a technical issue with the service sound.
1 time out of 3 or 4 the sound is not triggered, it's as if the referee announce is too long and prevents the service sound to be triggered.
Am I alone to have this issue ? It's really disturbing and it happens while I return or while I'm returning ^^

I think i noticed this, one or two times. Worrying a bit about it, i'll try to reproduce it to understand where this is coming from. If someone else also has this issue please report it (try to check if this happens for a specific scoreline then we may find a faulty sample or so).

Some shots, especially serves, have too low sounds to me, and I think that the female fault announcement can be annoying because of the applauses it contains...

Yep, that may be indeed. You probably noticed i lowered the volume of most shots since the test sessions cause it was a bit too loud. Though i didn't lowered much the hard first serves.


So, regading both issues i may release a small fix when i figure out the first one / and update the 1.13 links then.

I also thought this one may be shortened to "Second serve" only because of this specific situation.
But are you sure it was after the ball going in the net ?

Worse: not clean voice by umpire, especially when he is saying actual result

You can easily restore the vanilla umpire sounds if you prefer, just overwriting any Ann_* files from TE vanilla (sound folder) , in your sound folder. I may include an option for this in the next installer if i build a fix.

honestly, 1.13 is miles better than 1.12 overall..agreed that a few sound related issues exist, but nothing appalling. Kudos to the team for this version, im really liking it

Hello guys, i had this problem too.. I solved it, and i think that i know what is problem. Lucian made this sounds with high quality, so Tennis Elbow can't "read" that sounds sometimes and than you get that issue.. I reduced the quality of the sound to 44100 Hz and the problem solved (It sounds the same) ..

Hey Kneza, thanks for insight mate, indeed some samples are still @ 96khz. I'll resample them to 44.1 and repack a version / post a fix after some tests.

the public sounds didn't changed from 1.12.

i'll probably make an update when we fix the "no sound" bug C4iLL reported. Then i will probably review the strokes sounds and amplify them.

You just have to go to the audio menu and set the "fault calls" on "realistic", not "all".

As for the mute sounds (nice oxymoron, isn't it?) issue, Kneza is right. You have to set the sounds frequency on 44100 Hz/16bits and the problem should be fixed.

One thing I noticed is that the "let, 1st service" is cut too short. I had posted an update with an enhanced sample of that umpire call several days ago. So I'll post it here again. You can paste the attached .wav file on your ITST sound folder.

Well, i made 44.1khz downsampling and packed a small soundfix for C4iLL to test but he still has an issue with some muted serve sounds. So i'm not sure this fixes the issue. Not sure either running under Mac/Bootcamp can lead to some sound issues, i doubt it, cause it's not like TE has a complex sound environment.

I'll ask directly to Manutoo attaching the sound.ini file. Depending his answer i'll go for a fix in the next days so i can also include your fixed umpire sound.

Impressions of first matches player with New patch ? What do you see different vs 1.12?

The game seems a little bit slower. That's really good I like it. The last one 1.12 was apparently too quick, I realize it now. It also improved online in my opinion.
New sounds are impressive. Unlike some people I don't have problems so it's cool over on this side. Umpire also has a sweet deep voice.
Top spin has become less useful, I guess that's to be expected since the clay season is about to start very soon.
Courts have more colour in them. maybe it's an illusion but I'm believing it.

Of course not. You can't change those characteristics, they pretty much define the player more than anything else. Wait for some kind of "unlocked mode" and download that
