I set my autorecord to 1, but I went back and checked, and it had not worked.
Not sure what happened.
Sorry to Sinna who specifically asked me to record the match.

Anyways, it was against Indiantonike, and the score was 2-6, 7-5, 6-1, 6-2.
Him Tsonga, me Wawrinka.

I couldn't deal with Tsonga at the baseline whatsoever, so I tried my best to be aggressive on return (he served great), and try to get a few points on his service games. On my serve, I had to serve volley almost all the time, since if we got into a neutral rally, he completely overpowered me. I couldn't defend against his serve and power.
Sometimes I could upset him with the slice, and cause him to overhit, producing errors, but he still had more winners than UE at the end.

In the first set, I was good on serve, mixing it well and attacking the net - he couldn't break me, and hadn't found his passing shots.
In the 2nd set, I lost focus a bit, and he figured out how to return and pass me better. Was close in a lot of games, but he got the break.
Next set, I zoned out. I think I had chances to break at *5-1, but he saved breakpoints pretty well.
Last set, I was frustrated, and tired of getting passed at net, and overpowered at the baseline, so I focused on trying to hit aces all the time.
I served pretty well, but again lost my focus halfway through the set, and he kept the pressure on. Once he got the break at 2-2 or whatever, it was all over.

Decent match. Pity I don't have the stats, because I thought I'd have the replay. Maybe Indiantonike recorded it.

EDIT (VMoe86): G.Dimitrov (BUL) and Michael.D will try to play their match until Saturday. Maybe the technical problem will be resolved until then. Order from the host.

Robbin92 (Federer) 6-4 6-7 4-6 6-7 Kyuuji (Djokovic)

Lost to ITST's finest player Kyuuji. The goal that I set to myself before starting the match was at least win a set and then see how far I could go. The start was a bit rusty from both side as we struggled with the wheather circumstances. In the first set I was two breaks ahead and Kyuuji managed to break one back, but I could finish it off at 6-4.

Then Kyuuji started to play better and better. I hadn't had any chance at all from the baseline. The only way I could keep the score tight was by hitting many aces. Then at 4-4 I suddenly got to 0-40 at his service and missed an easy forehand on the first break point. The other ones disappeared by good playing of Kyuuji. In the tiebreak I hadn't a chance and Kyuuji simply finished it.

Third set was the same story as the second, I got a baseline tennis lesson. He broke me once and I he hadn't any trouble on his own service. In the fourth set he broke immediately and I knew that I had to change my tactic. I decided to go to the net more often and had some success with that. I got my confidence back and at 5-4, when Kyuuji served for the match, I managed to break him back due to some rare errors. I thought yeah I'm back in the match, but Kyuuji immediately broke me. I don't know what happened then whether I started to play better or he that he lost a bit of focus, but I again managed to break back. In the tiebreak I got a minibreak ahead, before hitting 5 lets at 3-2. I had to laugh about that and lost my focus which resulted in a double fault and another lost point. After that Kyuuji simply played it out.

Congratulations to this great player, I haven't seen this level yet in TE before I played him. I hope I can say I lost to the US Open champion.

C4iLL vs Perfect Ace = 6-1 6-2 6-4.

Ace had no time to train recently so he was a bit rusty in the first two sets. The second was more balanced but I managed to break at 5-4 to win the match. To sum-up, I was solid today 8)

You mean that the third was more balanced, not the second, right? :)

Ugadalou (Fish) vs tonigno (Soderling) 7-6/6-3/6-4

In the first stages of the match it was impossible to hit through tonigno,he made very few errors and punished all easy balls.Tonigno won the vast majority of long rallies in the opening set.
Of course the Soderling serve was a factor,he served very well finding the lines, also had an impressive 186km/h 2nd serve average.
In the next two sets, I tried to change my gameplan which obviously wasn't working.Instead of trying to hit through him,I moved the heavy Soderling around and played more passively and patiently, eventually disrupting his rhythm. So I had more chances on his serve but remained very aggressive on my own service games, not allowing him to take control of the rallies. He had one break point in the match but luck and the net cord was on my side on that point..

Also one strange thing that I noticed in the Elias-Aziz Ismail match as well,my opponent had a strange blue skin color.I don't know if it was his choice or a bug because of the confusion between game versions.Tonigno you saw Soderling normally?Check the replay to see what I'm talking about.

This issue is mainly caused by an old ITST.ini file.

People copying their old .ini file over a new TE install to keep their keyboard/pad config may have this issue arise, because the .ini files also contains more options about the game, textures, etc, wich evolves thru the different TE builds, that's why using an old .ini isn't a good move because it may contain outdated informations. In this case it's some outdated textures reference wich leads to some display mismatches.

Though this doesn't affect the gameplay in this case.

To keep the controler mapping, the clean way, after a new install, always manually copy/paste the [keys1] / [joy1] or [joy2] section from the old ITST.ini file, to the new one, after having created the profile ingame.

Or the safest way, just create the controller mapping manually after a new install ..

Ugadalou(Fish) def. G.Dimitrov(BUL) 7/6 6/7 6/2 6/4
Good match. Great play from him at the net. 0/7 BP from me. :(
First and second sets were like our last match, without break, great serve from the server. In the TB he was more concentrated and he won it. In the second set he was leading with one mini break, but I did two great passing shots and I won the set. Third and fourth set, I had poor service and that is why he just beat me. :)

Good luck vs Kyuuji/Polca. :)

EDIT: My third lose from him, so I'm praying to not face him again. :D

Ugadalou (Fish) vs. G.Dimitrov(BUL) (Dimitrov) 7-6/6-7/6-2/6-4

The match was very close in the first 2 sets, Dimitrov had the upper hand in most baseline exchanges but I was getting help from my serve and net game, so after saving a few break points I take the first 7-6.
In the next set pretty much the same story though I felt I was reading his game better and improving from the baseline.
This time Dimitrov was the winner in the tie-breaker,after making a great comeback from 5-3* down with a couple of passing shots.
In the third set, after I made an early break and Dimitrov failed to convert one of his 3 chances in the next game to break me back, he broke down mentally. So I was able to capitilize with another break and take it 6-2.In the final set I felt his emotional tank was empty after being 2-1 sets down and I managed to break again.
Very important for the outcome is the break point conversion stat where he had 0/7.If he was more efficient in that matter it could have been a whole different game.
He is a great player and he proved it by reaching QF in such a competitive tournament.Surely he will climb the rankings very quickly.Good luck in your next tournaments!
