so the latest bizarre development is that so far, its fine if I don't host. 3 straight matches of normal play so far.(went 1 win and 2 losses by the way, in case anyone thinks its just when i win that i say things are ok) We'll see if this keeps up

I'm aware of the games subtlties and dynamics. This is precisely why I know I DO have an issue! Because none of the things you mention are in fact the causes! There is a profound difference in shot power/depth that has NOTHING to do with what you mentioned.

For the last 10 matches now, things are fine if I don't host. Its clear there is some issue.

So please, please, nobody again try to attribute my problem to poor play!!

I appreciate your eloquence on the matter. It could be a lag issue, and I would completely concur with that if it wasn't for the fact that under SAME conditions there is variation. For example, roland garros, using Gulbis, in 200 stable ping and 117 half-delay----game is fine. In EXACT same conditions, suddenly, problem with power and depth ALL match long. So do you see how I am able to dismiss lag as a cause??
