Elias (Djokovic) vs Goroger (Federer) 6-1 6-2

Despite the score this was a good match with nice rallies, good returning (i have a good first % but still i'm not satisfied with my Djokovic serves, they lack some precision) and nice clean shots from Goroger, i just played solid and well focused. I'm not surprised that he played a tight match @ Farmer's classic vs. C4ill recently.

Overall he showed a pretty good moving and clean centered shots/accels, maybe not enough consistently placed near the lines though, so he should probably try to work on this and angle a bit more. Overall good rallies but he still had more flaws than i did with sometimes some positionning error resulting in a softer ball allowing me to take control of the rally.
I just can say he deserved a better score and regarding his progress i'm looking forward to see his first wins in the tour :)

Are we suppose to play third set with 2 games differences ?

That's a good question, reading wikipedia, since 1992 tennis olympics are played in best of 3 without tie-breaks in the third set, and the final in best of 5 without tie break in the 5th set. So i guess we should do the same.

Try to not forget setting up the no tie-break option for last set in the game misc options when hosting Olympics matches then.

Also as a reminder, feel free to use any of the wimbledon courts for Olympics matches, it's the same surface, so then you have different 2D cam choices available.

Got my first official win today! :)
The first set was played monday but due to the rain delay we finished the match today.
The first set Dimitrov played really well and I couldn't get any grip on his serve really. He created three break chances but with some good serves I was able to save my servicegame.
At 5-4 I had my first chance and I immediately took advantage of it winning the first set 6-4.
Stats of first set:

We played rest of the match today in which he played less good then monday. I was able to get an early double break lead to 4-0. Then he started playing like I expected him to do with less errors and good cross court shots. He broke me back to 4-1 and I got a bit afraid of throwing my lead away. That didn't happened and I won with 6-1 in the second set :)

Great match against Eliomelma 5-7 6-7 (5-7). My second match ever online. After my Citi Open match I found some timing after the disaster first match ever.

Both held serve fairly, increasing the pressure on each other's service games as the set progressed. At 5-4 Elio broke me and comfortably served out the set.

Second set started quickly with strong service games. I kept pounding pressure on Elio and got the break 5-3 serving for the set. He breaks back instantly with some great shots. Tie break, Elio goes 3-0 up. I quickly level to 3-3 with some good angled shots and ace. He then mini breaks again and serves out the match.

Nice match, good player. I hope to start getting some wins under my belt after my dreadful start. I'll practice online only now, to get timing!

Just won my R16 match against Hancock 7-5 7-5. After his match against Dimitrov where he lost hardly, i expected a easy match. But he is a good player, very hard match, and in the second match he was leading 5-3 and serve. The tiebreak was incredible, hard rallies and very funny. Congrats Hancock, in few weeks you will become a great challanger!

Replay posted, watch tie break, beautiful!

Thanks dude, I think I will certainly challenge most players now. My aim is top 10. I just had no timing in that Dimitrov match, was all instantly very new to me and had to try and adapt so quickly. When I came into this match I had the timing a little bit, so when I keep practicing online only I should get even better!

Played my second round against Tonigno. I think I played one of my best matches so far in TE. Tonigno is currently switching from controller to keyboard so he played under his normal level today. Though in the end of the match we had some pretty nice rallies.
Hope to play you again when u are more used to the keyboard!
