Why isn't this option disabled or adjusted for ITST Patch?

I've tried both, and clearly there's a big difference to the perceived ball speed.. Isn't this a kind of an unfair advantage against simulation players using vanilla ball size? Being able to see the ball better and "slower" through the court? Why not force the same game setting for all players?

It's a trade-off. I agree with considering the perceived ball speed lower when using big balls. But it's also true that it's harder to hit a bigger ball in its sweetspot. I honestly prefer playing with the default ball size, that is pretty much the same of real tennis balls. It gives me more precision and realism.

Meh, the ball looks slower because its bigger. And keep in mind that its just the animation that is bigger, so the ball "hitbox" is still is small as the ball itself. If it would be slower then the game should be desyncing constantly.
