Tennis Elbow Tour on ITST

Hi, ITST maniacs!

I' m considering playing Tennis Elbow on ITST, but i need more info about the game. I tried the demo a year ago and i didn't like it too much. Now, because there is no other tennis game i can play on PC, i have no alternative.

I made a list of questions about Tennis Elbow and the ITST tour so i can get informed and decide whether to spend the money on it or not:

1. As i stated at the beginning of the post, i only tried it a bit a year ago so i'm completely noob. How difficult is it to learn the mechanics? How long does it usually take?

2. I understand that you can only use pro players in online tournaments. Is that right? Why can't you use custom created players?

3. Can you play this game well enough with keyboard and mouse or you must own a gamepad in order to be competitive?

4. How's the level of cheesiness in the tour?

5. Does the tour have many problems with filling up tournaments? The WO and no match lists are big?

I will answer some of your questions,

TE is the best tennis game out there, so if u didnt like it its because u didnt give it enough time I think. You can learn the mechanics rather quickly, but perfecting can take months. Movement in TE is arguably more important that strikes and moving well has a steep learning curve imo.
Honestly, TE is one of the deepest games i have ever played. You can always improve.

The smaller tourneys 16/32 draw usually fill up. The larger draws (96, etc) never fill completely.

Most "cheesy" things arent allowed in official matches. However, cheesiness is a matter of opinion so...
But any cheesy stuff that isnt banned wont really help you. And its very rare to meet a player who alot of cheese.

Almost everyone uses a keyboard. Its better actually, imo

Come to TE man, it's awesome....you will get raped on the court a lot in the next year or so It takes a while to get really good.
