WE need an ITST offline career mode!

Just got into ITST Online and its amazing. I thought Sam's patch was great offline but the ITST version is the best yet, despite there being way too many aces!
Is there anyway we can have an offline career mode against CPU using the ITST build? this would be great!?

I think you misunderstanding the essence of what is ITST. I suggest you read up the First posts of the mod. We are an ONLINE competition community that runs tournaments according to ATP schedule, that includes Challengers and Futures. So I suggest you sign up for them and play them, that will be your career mode in ITST, with points rankings etc.

In my opinion as soon as there is demand something is needed.
ITST is not made for offline tour thats right. But i would not say no if i could play offline seasons with ITST charackters.

It is not a question of "demand" or "need"....it is a question of us not doing it.

If someone wants to create an off line version and slap an ITST name on it - let me know. As for our developers - they will concentrate on on-line experience only.

There is no mandate here, we do this to support ITST agenda, ITST tours, that is why the mod exists in the first place.

In my opinion, people generally don't know what they need, their demands are biased. Back then, ask people if they wanted a smartphone, they would say no... Nowadays, most people have purchased one. It's like this in every business.

Demand is biased because of lack of information, fear, false belief, stuff like that. In the case of this topic, the guy wants the offline perhaps because of a lack of information : he doesn't know how playing an online career with ITST mod is far more rewarding, realistic and enjoyable (even if you loose in my opinion because you have to face realistic tactics, mental stuff as on a real court : you fight for your ranking against people who want to climb it as well).

Of course some guys will say "I have no time blabla". But it's here again a false belief, it takes less time to play ITST than playing an offline carreer where you have to accumulate a lot of match to feel any satisfaction feeling...

And by the way, where is the fun beating an AI of which you can change the level whenever you want ? Offline career is just a fake as long as there is no "locked canon level" for the AI. Pro 10 is close to be canon (it's the developer who says this) but it's not locked, so what's the point playing a carreer ? Everyone can become n°1 under these conditions, no challenge !

If ITST launch an offline challenge one day, the level of the AI must be locked for every players (at a very high level to reproduce the ITST online level).

Ok I know you are all sensitive about offline career with ITST mod but hey its common sense. Why kicking out the original vanilla option WORlD TOUR out. Just dont make any sense. if you have the knowledge to do such a beautiful mod. And vanilla game has so much more players and you leave them out and remove career. Please dont do it. Just leave your 68 ITST players as they are but please bring back vanilla world tour and whole players from original game but with the correct names. Why complicating things with mods, versions, programing, separate vanilla icons.

Conclusion: one mod, ok let it be ITST, leave the original world tour in game and the whole players from 1990 to 2015 but with correct names

World tour mode is bugged when ITST mod is installed, so better to replace the icon to avoid useless questions about it. It doesn't prevent anyone to play vanilla TE. The mod installer creates a Run_TE_Vanilla.bat launcher in TE root folder, just launch it and you're playing TE unmodded (installer is now updated and also creates a Run_TE_Vanilla shortcut on your desktop.

If you do are you playing world tour on vanilla or you have some patches. I would like to play offline career and I dont mind vanilla version even if its like two time worst then ITST but one thing I cant accept and that is the wrong names of real players from 1990 to 2015. So does anyone have solution to that. I tried sams megapatch but than I lose the itst version, and sams megapatch doesnt work well on steam version. So basicly I want to have ITST version but also an option to play offline career but with real names of players. And I cant instal game in two difierent folder and apply one patch on one an other because i bought game on steam and it doesnt work that way.

why don't you just play your career online? So much funner, more competitive,more interesting. Cmon. playing cpu sux

New in game and still trying to figure how to play online, when i go find internet games and every time I click to join game it says "this game didn't answer". Thats the main reason I want offline, the other one is that to me it seams that just a few people play online, seams hard to find online game even if my game worked i see little online games. And second or third reason is that I want to play with other players like Ivanisevic, Marcelo Rios, Agassi, Bruguera, Karlovic and a lot of other players that I like

Look into your network setup, it may have an issue. Can you host matches? ...when you click "tests connection" does it go through?

i just reinstalled the game and apply new steam version friendly installer from elias and everything seams to work fine. thank you dhough
