Postby Rafa15 » Thu, 27 Mar 2014 17:54

hey guys i played the game now sine 3-4 weeks and its make so much fun because it is the most realistic tennis game.
I have two questions: 1. Keyboard or gamepad? which one use the pros?
2. What is an accleration? Is this a shot type ? i have never before heard of this in a tennis game?

Richie & Vramvrim, n°1 and n°2 ITST play with a pad. Other top 10 players play with keyboard I think.

About acceleration, it's simple : it's a shot more powerful used to win the point. Short acceleration are very important : they land just after the net at a quick speed

i think i'm feeling much more comfortable with the pad too but it is very very difficult to get all shots to the buttons :(

any tipps for me to get the buttons more confortable? does anybody know how other pad players have choose their buttons?

till know i played with this settings: a=topspin any
b=accleration and aggressive lob
x= slice and drop shot
so i just used this 5 shots in the game, it canot work against human players or?

Okay I use a playstation layout for my controller.

Here are my keys.

x - accel shot
circle - normal shot
square - slice
R1 + x - short accel
R1 + square = drop shot
R2 + x = Aggressive lob
R2 + square = deffense lob
R2 + circle = top spin

Joystick to move around and aim shot :)

You need all them shots in game to play.

A, S and D are the only keys I use. I play with default controls (up+D for short accelerations and up+S for dropshots and so on).
