Graphic crash when joining a game

Hi,

I need some help in order to face a graphic issue i'm having at the moment. In fact, when i'm trying to join a game in the lobby, like 80% of the time, my nvidia graphic is crushing and i'm obliged to shutdown the computer and boot it again.

I've install the latest direct X, and teh latest nvidia driver. I've already face that issue, in the past where manutoo gave me a patch which solved my problem. I've ask him again last week, but he said he could not help me as the game is modded with the ITST patch.

So i don't know if someone using nvidia graphic card had the same problem and solve it. Or if one of the modder have and idea where the problem could be.

On my side, I have globally 2 main technical issues with TE :

1) a very random issue : the game freezes, mostly at 0-0 when my opponent gives up and I click on "OK" to go back the lobby (impossible to do alt tab). Recently it happened during my match vs Vincetheprince on second set...

On this situation, I must reboot the computer, but Windows freezes on the boot afterwards... And to get it fully launched, I must try a lot of tricky things like going in the "no error" mode of Windows by pressing F11, reboot, and try again (usually I have to reboot it like 6 or 7 times in a row !).

2) Everytime I install TE again, the game freezes a lot, and I even have graphic bugs (like the net is not displayed, the characters are black, or even the ball is not displayed). To solve this I go in the advanced graphism menu and changed all the parameters randomly : trying the frames, the setting "hardware / software" etc.

Once the game is reboot it works well, but I never knew why it does that ^^
Maybe the 2) can help you solving your issue Fox because I'm also on a Nvidia card

Thx for those tips C4ill, well i've tried to put the T&L mode to software in the video option. I've played 2 matches under this settings and looks to be fine. I have just to adjust the camera at the begining of the match, but no problem to join.

I'll tell you in my next matchs if the problem occurs once again or if this solved definitly my problem. You can try aswell djarvik and give us feedbacks

I had the same issue in the past. I solved it just by installing the newest driver version of my video card; so mostly likely the issue is not TE but something about your computer

I have installed the newest drivers since the first time it happen. It still happening. So that's' not it.

I know it sounds too obvious but you guys could run the game with nvidia discrete graphics. Try it that way by right clicking on TE 2013 and run with graphic processor and choose nvidia. That's if your PC has optimus enabled.

This works only on Windows 8, i have managed to solve many graphic issues like that.
By the way i've set TE graphic setting on software since C4iLL advise me that and looks pretty fine up to know.
