Auto-positioning issue

Postby Woowhat » Mon, 26 Nov 2012 22:57

Hello

The rule is to have auto-positioning on slow. When we open character sheet manipulating this stats is not possible but there is a way to overpass that through warm-up (practice) menu. There (warm-up menu) is also a option to set/adjust auto-positioning and when it's done it stays in character sheet later.
I noticed this while messing around with fast movement and arcade controles and then went to play online. Arcade controles didn't matter because that decision depends on host but the movement stays no matter what. My opponent didn't notice anyhing strange.
Now, fast positiong sucks because safe zone but medium gives a nice advantage over slow one.

I don't know if this is a known issue and if it is and i get something wrong then sorry lol but if it's not then i think something should be done about this.

cheers

aha i see now but i guess you also need a recorded dmo file of match because theres no date on CRC page or any way to tell the screenshot is not from some friendly match where both parts agreed to play in non slow auto-positioning conditions
I mean, i don't say anybody is abusing this thing, just talking possibilities because there are people willing to gain unfair advantage in every game.
I think most people still don't know about CRC numbers. I played 2 official games and neither side even pressed F5, not to talk about friendly matches.

Its your own responsibility to check the CRC number before the match starts. If it is incorrect then tell your opponent and tell the host and dont play him at that moment. If you check after the match or during then yes, you will need a dmo file to back up your statements.

Players that try to trick inexperienced members will get caught rather sooner then later. Its not a bad idea to raise the awareness of the CRC number with our new members though.
